Board Lane

Board Lane’ represents a small, yet busy suburban goods yard in the late steam/early diesel period when such things still existed. Wagons are shunted in to and out of the goods yard, and also to the transfer siding, which leads to a dock/industrial area still having rail access. A variety of kit built and ready to run 4 and 6 coupled steam and diesel shunting locos operate the yard.

The layout gets its name from the ironing board on which it sits.
