EM Gauge china clay workings
St Minions is an exercise in small scale modelling. Based around china clay workings, it shows that finescale modelling can be achieved in a small area. Built to EM gauge, the track work is a mixture of copperclad and C & L. The buildings are mostly modified or scratch built. The layout is wired to DCC operation. The eventual aim is to portray workings over several periods, although the 1970’s/80’s is what is run at present. Passenger services are in the hands of a single railcar, with class 25’s handling the freight. Please feel free to ask any questions.
