Boghampton – OO – Tony Forward

Boghampton is a fictitious terminal station on the south coast of the UK somewhere between Portsmouth and Ramsgate. Trains arrive and leave for London and other stations along the coast. Set in the mid to late 60’s and being close enough to London to be a commuter and holiday destination, the station has one, no longer used, goods bay – parcels now being handled in the main station when necessary.

Boghampton is an OO gauge layout with DCC Control from a laptop via a Hornby Railmaster program controlling a Hornby E-link unit.

The layout is based in the East Midlands and was first exhibited at the South Notts. Model Railway Show in April 2015 presented by the Bingham Model Railway Club. It has since been shown in Essex at the 2015 Basildon show and at Grantham on the 12-13 September 2015. Several exhibitions later and Boghampton seems as popular as ever!
