ANNSTON by Paul Butler is based in in the 1990’s sectorisation era. Annston is a fictitious midlands industrial town that was once on a busy cross country route.
The line was partly singled in the 1970’s and cut back to become a terminus.
A surviving branch line serves several freight locations so trains run round to access the branch and serve the distribution depot located in the former goods yard.
