This Bingham Model Railway Club layout their imagining of the Great Central south of Nottingham had Dr Beeching not been employed by the Government of the day! It is large enough to enable two full rakes of wagons or carriages to be stored in each of the fiddle yard roads and the tracks from that yard curve round at each end to entries to either a Loco storage yard and turntable at the South end or a goods/coal yard at the North end of the viewable part of the layout. The layout is 24’x8’ on 4’x2’ boards which are partially stackable. (2’ space at each end for access needed) Wilford Road is DCC controlled by an NCE system from mobile phones/tablets including the points, signals and the turntable on the front of the layout, the points in the fiddle yard are operated similarly.
